Natural carbon sinks are a crucial way to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Their ability to achieve negative emissions can make a substantial contribution to a nation's net-zero emissions target.
Beyond actively reducing emissions, enterprises can also achieve carbon neutrality by engaging in afforestation and reforestation, and carbon capture and storage.
Therefore, understand what natural carbon sinks is, how to plan for them, and what nature-based carbon credit trading is, are not only vital for enterprises to plan for carbon reduction policies, through ecological protection, restoration, and improvement on land management, will also contribute to effectively reducing greenhouse gas emissions and achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
